In the Signature Rice Dishes Competition, the Association for the Promotion and Defense of Serrana de Espadán Olive Oil collaborated with its Serrana de Espadán Extra Virgin Olive Oil, a high-quality oil and essential ingredient for the prestigious Signature Rice Dishes Competition.
The competition was organized by Arroz Tartana and held in the Albufera Natural Park at Tancat de L’Estell on June 27th. This farm cultivates the highest quality rice varieties in the Albufera region. Renowned chef Juan Carlos Galbis coordinated the jury, which was presided over by Sergio Terol of the Valencian Academy of Gastronomy, José Torrent del Mornell of the El Palmar Hospitality Association, and Miguel Ángel Pérez of World Paella Day.
Chefs Alberto Gómez and Rubén Sarrión were the winners of this edition.
